Muharraq:Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, the Minister of Social Development, visited the Muharraq Social Welfare Centre to commemorate the International Day for Older Persons. This visit is part of the Ministry's ongoing efforts to enhance communication with the elderly and acknowledge their contributions to society.
According to Bahrain News Agency, during his visit, the Minister engaged with several elderly individuals, discussing their well-being and needs. He also inspected the centre's operations and reviewed the quality of care and services offered, while touring various facilities within the centre.
The Minister emphasized the importance of the attention and care provided to the elderly, stating that the International Day for Older Persons serves as an acknowledgment of their societal contributions. He reiterated the Ministry's dedication to improving services to better meet the needs and aspirations of older persons.
