Manama:The Equal Opportunities Committee at the National Bureau for Revenue (NBR) held its third meeting of 2026, chaired by Rana Ibrahim Al Faqeehi, NBR Chief Executive and Committee Chairperson. The meeting was part of efforts to support gender balance and empower Bahraini women in the workplace.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the committee reviewed the Bureau's latest quantitative indicators, which showed balanced participation of national competencies across various areas of work. Updates on ongoing initiatives, including programmes supporting mental wellbeing and work-life balance, were also discussed.
The committee reaffirmed the NBR's commitment to developing and implementing initiatives that promote equal opportunities and gender balance, aligning with national priorities and enhancing institutional efficiency.
