Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain Hosts GCC Housing Ministers Meeting

Riffa:His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, met with His Excellency Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi, Secretary General of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and the heads of delegations at the 24th Meeting of the GCC Committee of Ministers Responsible for Housing Affairs at Riffa Palace.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister reiterated Bahrain's commitment, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to support joint Gulf initiatives that foster cooperation among GCC member states, contributing to their progress and prosperity.

During the meeting, the heads of delegations shared greetings from the leaders of the GCC states with His Majesty the King and the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. In response, His Royal Highness extended the King's greetings to the leaders of the GCC countries.

The Crown Prince and Prime Minister expressed his wishes for the meeting's success in advancing joint efforts in the housing sector. He emphasized the importance of continued efforts to achieve the GCC leaders' visions in housing and real estate, advocating for coordinated approaches and solutions to common challenges.

His Royal Highness highlighted the significance of the Innovation in the Social Housing Sector Conference and Exhibition 2026, held alongside the GCC meeting, as a platform for exchanging expertise and fostering partnerships in the housing sector. He noted that such events contribute to developing innovative and sustainable solutions.

The delegation heads expressed gratitude to the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his support of Gulf cooperation and wished further progress and prosperity for Bahrain and its people. The meeting was part of Bahrain's presidency of the 46th Session of the Supreme Council of the GCC, known as the "Bahrain Summit."

Among those present were His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Minister of the Prime Minister's Court, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, and other senior officials.
