Bahrain Stock Indices Decline as Financial Sector Experiences Downturn

Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,929.36 points, marking a decrease of 0.78 points below the previous closing. This decline was attributed to a drop in the financials sector.According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also saw a decrease, closing at 930.05 points, which is 2.14 points below its previous closing. The trading session results indicated that 96 equity transactions occurred with a volume of 3,590,811, amounting to BD 501,945.Investors engaged predominantly in the financials sector, which represented 88.09% of the total value of securities traded.
