Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a cable of congratulations to Her Excellency Laura Fern¡ndez Delgado, President of the Republic of Costa Rica, on her country's Independence Day.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the cable was sent as a gesture of goodwill and to commemorate the national celebration of Costa Rica's independence. King Hamad expressed his sincere congratulations and best wishes for the continued progress and prosperity of Costa Rica under President Delgado's leadership.
