Manama: Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), conducted an inspection visit to one of the BDF units, as part of his ongoing visits to various branches and units to review their combat readiness and military and administrative preparedness.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Commander-in-Chief commended the care and support the BDF receives from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the continued support and follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Prime Minister.
Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed affirmed that this support aids in the BDF's continued development and modernisation, enhancing its capabilities and strengthening its combat readiness in line with the latest military practices and current challenges.
The Commander-in-Chief praised the high level of competence and strong national spirit demonstrated by BDF personnel, acknowledging their efforts in carrying out their duties and responsibilities with dedication and a strong sense of responsibility. He emphasized the importance of maintaining the highest levels of vigilance, readiness, and preparedness, and performing their duties and responsibilities efficiently and competently in defence of the homeland, protection of its achievements, and safeguarding its security and stability, amid the region's rapidly evolving developments and challenges.
