Manama: Dr Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, welcomed Kenji Yamada, the State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan, to engage in discussions aimed at enhancing cooperation in the energy sector and exploring potential investment opportunities.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Bin Daina underscored the strong and evolving partnership between Bahrain and Japan, highlighting the significance of advancing bilateral cooperation and exchanging expertise, especially in the fields of energy and related technologies. Both parties examined global energy sector developments, as well as shifts in energy production and consumption, emphasizing the need to broaden the application of innovation and modern technologies to boost efficiency and sustainability.
Minister Yamada acknowledged Bahrain's advancements in the energy sector and reiterated Japan's eagerness to deepen collaboration and further solidify the partnership between the two nations.
