Manama: Oil prices edged lower in early Asian trading: Brent crude futures fell 25 cents, or 0.3%, to $89.45 a barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate crude futures dropped 22 cents, or 0.3%, to $83.31.
According to Bahrain News Agency, this decrease follows a session where oil prices had previously settled higher. However, both benchmarks are now on track for weekly losses, with Brent crude down 5.3% and WTI down 4.3%. This decline in prices comes as part of a volatile week for the oil market.
