Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), commended Al Salam Bank's gold sponsorship of the Gadeha Junior Camp.
According to Bahrain News Agency, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad stated that the partnership reflects the bank's role in supporting national initiatives and its commitment to social responsibility through efforts aimed at developing youth capabilities and preparing them to contribute effectively to serving the Kingdom. His Highness noted that Al Salam Bank's participation as a gold sponsor represents an important addition to the camp and signifies growing confidence in the initiative, as well as private sector support for investing in youth.
HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad expressed appreciation for the sponsorship, highlighting that it will aid the camp's programs and objectives of fostering discipline, leadership, and a sense of responsibility among participants, aligning with Bahrain's efforts to empower youth and prepare them for the future.
In his remarks, Rafik Nayed, Group Chief Executive Officer of Al Salam Bank, emphasized that the sponsorship is a reflection of the bank's commitment to investing in youth and backing initiatives that have a positive and sustainable impact on society. Nayed pointed out that Gadeha Camp plays a role in developing youth leadership and personal skills, while also promoting responsibility, teamwork, discipline, and commitment, which enables participants to contribute effectively to Bahrain's development.
