HM King Congratulates Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa on Royal Military Academy Sandhurst Recognition

Manama: His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa sent a cable of congratulations to Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Deputy Chairman of the Royal Family Council, expressing his sincere congratulations on his recognition by the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS). Shaikh Mohammed is the first Bahraini to graduate from the academy after joining it in 1957. The honour marks the 70th anniversary of the longstanding relations between Bahrain and the academy.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HM the King also congratulated Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa on the graduation of his grandson, Shaikh Mohammed bin Fawaz Al Khalifa, who was part of a graduating cohort that included graduates from the Kingdom of Bahrain. His Majesty praised the recognition bestowed upon Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa, highlighting his distinguished career, competence, and expertise. He noted that the honour reflects the respect and esteem accorded to the Kingdom of Bahrain and its dedicated citizens, as well as its prominent and distinguished presence on the global stage.

His Majesty expressed appreciation for the valuable services Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa continues to render to the nation through his responsibilities, wishing him continued success. On the occasion, His Majesty commended the deep and longstanding strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United Kingdom across various domains.

His Majesty also highlighted the growing cooperation between Bahrain and the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in military and training fields, praising the academy's heritage, distinguished reputation, and role in preparing, qualifying, and training military personnel and leaders. The academy's programmes and curricula cover various military disciplines, further strengthening the bond between the two nations.
