He also acknowledged the steadfast support provided to Bahrain's press by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh praised the advancements made by Bahrain's national press since the inception of His Majesty the King's reform initiative, underscoring its contribution to the Kingdom's developmental narrative. He noted that the Prime Minister's Award for Journalism fosters creativity and innovation in media content and encourages the effective use of digital and media platforms to support national progress.
In celebration of the announcement of the winners of the award's 10th edition, at a ceremony presided over by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Al Saleh lauded HRH's continued advocacy for Bahrain's press, journalists, and media professionals. He remarked that the annual recognition by HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister serves as a catalyst for media professionals within Team Bahrain to maintain high-quality journalism and spotlight the government's development initiatives under HRH's leadership.
The chairman extended his congratulations to all the winners of the 10th edition of the Prime Minister's Award for Journalism, appreciating the caliber of their work, which demonstrates their dedication to enhancing the role of the press and its professional, educational, and national mission.
