Manama: Lieutenant General Doctor Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, presided over the third regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Primary Healthcare Centres for 2026. The meeting included the participation of Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, along with Board members and Dr. Ejlal Faisal Al Alawi, Chief Executive Officer of the Primary Healthcare Centres.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the chairman praised the efforts of the Primary Healthcare Centres and their staff in advancing healthcare services. He highlighted the importance of ongoing development plans and initiatives aimed at enhancing performance and improving the quality of services.
The board examined several agenda items, including the latest developments in the centres' plans and projects. They also reviewed key performance indicators and development initiatives, as well as discussed strategic priorities for the next phase to further improve healthcare services for both citizens and residents.
