Manama: The Equal Opportunities Committee at the National Communication Centre (NCC) held its periodic meeting for 2026, chaired by Islam Ahmed Abduljabbar, Director General of the International Communication Office. The committee reviewed efforts and initiatives to promote equal opportunities and strengthen the institutional work environment. It also reviewed progress in implementing this year's action plan and gender-responsive budgets aligned with national plans and priorities to support the advancement, leadership, and career development of women, while enhancing workplace efficiency and gender balance at the centre.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting also reviewed updates on training and professional development programmes for the centre's national workforce. These programs aim to empower national talent in government communication in line with the centre's institutional and development objectives.
