Manama: Three land border posts in northern Kuwait came under attack, resulting in material damage, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Colonel Saud Abdulaziz Al Atwan, the official spokesperson of the Ministry of Defence, stated that a Kuwait Oil Company offshore drilling platform in Kuwait's territorial waters was also targeted by a hostile drone. The attack caused material damage and injured one worker, who is currently receiving medical treatment.
Colonel Al Atwan mentioned that the concerned authorities promptly initiated the necessary response measures in coordination with the relevant agencies. He stressed that the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces is fully prepared and has taken all necessary measures and precautions to safeguard the country's security and territorial integrity.
