Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 2,023.79 points, marking a decrease of 0.58 points below the previous closing. This decrease was attributed to a drop in the communications services sector, the consumer discretionary sector, and the materials sector.According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced a decline, closing at 951.21 points, which is 0.09 points below the previous closing. Results indicated that 91 equity transactions took place with a volume of 958,391 worth BD 270,707.Investors were mainly active in the financials sector, which represented 51.80% of the total value of securities traded.
