Bahrain Chairs Ninth Meeting of GCC Supreme and Cassation Courts’ Technical Office Committee

Manama: Judge Ibrahim Sultan Al Zayed chaired the ninth meeting of the Technical Office Committee of the Supreme and Cassation Courts of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), held remotely as part of Bahrain's presidency of the 46th GCC session for 2026. The meeting was attended by Judge Dr. Jawaher Adel Al Abdulrahman and representatives of the technical offices of the GCC's supreme and cassation courts.According to Bahrain News Agency, the committee reviewed a number of initiatives to advance judicial cooperation and integration across the GCC. Members approved the launch of the first edition of the GCC Judicial Journal, an electronic publication prepared by the Technical Office of Bahrain's Court of Cassation. The committee also considered a memorandum from the GCC General Secretariat on the annual conference on judicial practice and issued recommendations on the agenda items discussed.
