Manama: Asim Abdullatif Abdullah, Undersecretary for Agriculture Affairs and Animal Wealth at the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, visited Bari Veterinary Hospital, where they were received by Dr. Bari Hamed and co-founder Anood Khalid Al Sharif.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Undersecretary reaffirmed the ministry's commitment to supporting high-quality initiatives and investments that contribute to the development of the veterinary sector. He commended the private sector's vital role in promoting public health, safeguarding animal wealth, enhancing the quality of veterinary services, and providing opportunities to train and qualify Bahraini talent, thereby strengthening public-private partnerships and supporting sustainable development goals.
He also praised the hospital's high standard of veterinary care and specialised services, delivered in line with international best veterinary practices, reflecting its commitment to advancing animal welfare and supporting public health.
During the visit, the Undersecretary toured the hospital's facilities, including its specialised clinics, examination rooms, operating theatres, and intensive care units, as well as its advanced veterinary medical equipment and diagnostic technologies, which support the delivery of treatment and diagnostic services in accordance with the highest veterinary standards.
He was also briefed on the hospital's services. The facility employs specialised Bahraini professionals alongside a team of veterinarians and receives an average of around 40 cases daily, making it one of Bahrain's leading specialised veterinary centres.
