Royal Court Minister Receives Publications from Muslim Council of Elders

Manama: Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court, received Mohamed Abdelsalam, Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Elders. The Secretary General presented two publications as a gift to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa from His Eminence Professor Dr Ahmed Al Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al Azhar.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the first publication was the commemorative volume of the "Bahrain Intra-Islamic Dialogue Conference," held under the patronage of His Majesty the King and hosted by the Kingdom of Bahrain. The second was the encyclopaedia "One Hundred Questions on Methodology, Doctrine and Sharia," a scholarly project undertaken by Al Azhar scholars in cooperation with the Muslim Council of Elders.

The Minister conveyed His Majesty the King's appreciation to the Grand Imam of Al Azhar for the gifts. Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed praised the Grand Imam's efforts to promote principles of tolerance, coexistence, and dialogue, strengthening cooperation among peoples. He also acknowledged Al Azhar's role as a leading academic and religious institution dedicated to advancing the values and principles of Islam.

The Minister emphasized the close cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Al Azhar in promoting shared humanitarian values.
