Bahraini Royals Engage in Diplomatic and Developmental Activities

Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today highlighted a series of significant local events, focusing on the engagements and diplomatic activities involving the nation's leadership over the past 24 hours. The events underscored Bahrain's commitment to fostering international relations and advancing national development.

According to Bahrain News Agency, HM King received the US Secretary of State, marking a pivotal moment in strengthening the bilateral ties between Bahrain and the United States. This meeting comes alongside a series of congratulatory exchanges, where HM King extended his congratulations to the leaders of Qatar, Croatia, Mozambique, and Slovenia. Furthermore, Bahraini families expressed their loyalty and support through cables sent to HM King, reinforcing the nation's unity.

In another diplomatic development, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister received a congratulatory cable from HH the Minister of the Prime Minister's Court and Chairman of the High Committee of the REHC, while also extending congratulations to the Amir of Qatar. Meanwhile, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad engaged in discussions with US Senators Jacky Rosen, Brian Schatz, and Lindsey Graham, and also met with the Chairman of the US House of Representatives Committee on Foreign Affairs.

The Deputy Prime Minister chaired the 308th Ministerial Committee for Development Projects and Infrastructure meeting, signaling Bahrain's ongoing focus on infrastructure development. Additionally, Bahrain warmly welcomed the US Secretary of State's visit, further cementing the strategic alliance between the two nations.

The Interior Minister held a meeting with HH Southern Governor, and the Foreign Ministry launched its annual "Ammanakom Allah" awareness campaign. The Sustainable Development Ministry published Bahrain's third voluntary national review, showcasing the country's progress towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. Bahrain also chaired the GCC Public Prosecution specialists committee meeting, highlighting its active role in regional cooperation.

Notably, the University of Bahrain achieved a remarkable milestone by ranking seventh globally in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings, reflecting the nation's commitment to educational excellence and sustainable development.
