Manama: The Ministry of Works has announced that the construction of a U-turn lane at the Zallaq Interchange in the Southern Governorate will require the closure of two lanes on the Zallaq Flyover and one slow lane leading to Sheikh Khalifa Bin Salman Highway towards Manama. One lane will remain open for traffic movement at both locations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the closure will take place over the weekend, starting from Friday, June 19 at 12:00 am and ending on Sunday, June 21 at 05:00 am. This temporary measure is part of the efforts to facilitate the construction work efficiently.
All road users are urged to adhere to the traffic rules and regulations during this period to ensure safety for everyone on the road. The Ministry emphasizes the importance of compliance to maintain smooth traffic flow and prevent any accidents.
