Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Meets New CEO of GCC Centre for Disease Prevention and Control

Riyadh: Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Khalifa, Bahrain's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, received Colonel Dr. Manaf Mohammed Al Qahtani on his appointment as Chief Executive Officer of the Gulf Centre for Disease Prevention and Control, affiliated with the Gulf Health Council under the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

According to Bahrain News Agency, the ambassador congratulated Colonel Dr. Al Qahtani on his appointment and wished him success in his new role. He highlighted the centre's important contribution to supporting disease prevention efforts and strengthening public health systems across the GCC member states.

Colonel Dr. Al Qahtani expressed his appreciation to the ambassador and affirmed his commitment to advancing joint Gulf health cooperation in support of the centre's objectives and the ongoing development of health integration among GCC countries.
