Bahrain Stock Indices Record Decline Amid Sectoral Downturn

Manama: Bahrain All Share Index has closed at 1,977.26 points, marking a decrease of 5.79 points below the previous closing. This decline is attributed to the downturn in the financials sector, materials sector, and real estate sector.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bahrain Islamic Index also experienced a decrease, closing at 955.42 points, which is 6.47 points lower than its previous closing. The market activity included 102 equity transactions, with a trading volume of 1,792,215 shares valued at BD 782,323.

Investors' focus was predominantly on the non-Bahraini companies sector, which accounted for 51.73% of the total value of securities traded.
