Manama: The General Directorate of Port Security, in partnership with the Coast Guard and Masar Group, which focuses on maritime transport, conducted a maritime evacuation exercise at the King Fahad Causeway. This initiative is part of ongoing efforts to boost readiness and preparedness for emergency situations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the exercise was designed to test approved plans and procedures, while enhancing coordination and cooperation among the participating entities. The goal is to ensure a swift and effective response to emergencies, safeguarding lives and property.
The exercise featured the implementation of training scenarios based on approved plans. This was done to improve the efficiency of the participating teams, elevate their readiness to manage various circumstances, and ensure the effectiveness of joint coordination mechanisms among the relevant authorities.
