Interior Minister Reviews Security Readiness at King Fahd Causeway Coast Guard Base

Manama: General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the Interior Minister, visited the King Fahd Causeway Coast Guard Base to assess operational readiness and security measures in response to Iranian aggression. He was greeted by Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Public Security.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister conveyed the greetings and appreciation of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa to the Coast Guard personnel. This message acknowledged their efforts in enhancing maritime security and protecting Bahrain's coasts.

The minister praised the leadership of His Majesty the King during challenging regional circumstances. He noted that directives from the King have enabled Bahrain to strengthen its strategic capabilities, allowing a professional response to regional developments. Additionally, he highlighted the government's strategic approach under the leadership of the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which aims to bolster national readiness and reassure citizens.

The visit underscored the professionalism of the Coast Guard, emphasizing their continuous maritime presence and collaboration with relevant entities to secure territorial waters. The minister stressed the importance of developing and equipping the Coast Guard with advanced technology and training systems, aligning with international standards.

General Shaikh Rashid expressed gratitude to Customs Affairs, Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs, the General Directorate of Ports Security, and other entities at the King Fahd Causeway for ensuring secure supply chains and efficient service delivery.
