Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), has issued Edict (3) of 2026, focusing on the appointment of a new member to the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Modern Pentathlon Federation.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the decision followed a review of Decree (21) of 1989, which promulgates the Law of Associations, Social and Cultural Clubs, Private Bodies Operating in the Field of Youth and Sports, and Private establishments. The edict is based on a proposal by the Secretary-General of the BOC. Article (1) of the decision confirms the appointment of Salah Ali Mohammed Saleh Al Subaie to the board.
Article (2) mandates that the Secretary-General and all relevant parties implement this decision within their respective areas of responsibility. The edict is effective immediately from the date of issuance.
