CBB Treasury Bills Oversubscription Reaches 100%

Manama: This week's BD 70 million issue of Government Treasury Bills has been oversubscribed by 100.072%. The bills, with a maturity period of 91 days, are issued by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain. The issue date for these bills is March 18, and they will mature on June 17.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the weighted average rate of interest for this issue is 5.06%, which shows an increase from the previous issue's rate of 4.99% on March 4. The approximate average price for the issue was calculated at 98.736%, with the lowest accepted price being 98.702%.

This issuance is recognized as issue No.2112 (ISIN BH0009H06813) of Government Treasury Bills. With the completion of this issue, the total outstanding value of the Government Treasury Bills has reached BD 2.110 billion.
