Deputy Prime Minister Chairs Ministerial Meeting on Development and Infrastructure Projects

Manama: Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister, chaired the 286th meeting of the Ministerial Committee for Development and Infrastructure Projects. The committee addressed several key issues related to regulatory frameworks and controls for commercial activities on public roads and squares, with the objective of maintaining the urban environment and ensuring a smooth flow of traffic.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the committee also discussed mechanisms for the effective use of primary natural resources, emphasizing improved efficiency within the construction sector. These discussions are part of a broader strategy to enhance infrastructure development while conserving natural resources.

In addition, the committee reviewed proposals regarding the coordination and readiness of public services and facilities at locations designated for the upcoming Bahrain National Day celebrations. These proposals aim to ensure that public services are well-prepared and efficiently managed during the national event.
