Manama: The Bureau of the Council of Representatives held its meeting, chaired by Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives. The Bureau reviewed the agenda of the Council's upcoming sessions and discussed issues of national and parliamentary importance. It highlighted the legislative authority's keenness to continue enhancing cooperation with the executive authority to achieve further national accomplishments and support the comprehensive development process led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Bureau commended the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to continue government efforts and programmes aimed at creating quality opportunities for citizens of the Kingdom in empowerment and employment, supporting living conditions, and meeting the needs of Bahraini families, in a manner that promotes development and prosperity for the nation and its people.
The Bureau congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister, on the occasion of the 29th anniversary of the establishment of the National Guard. The Bureau also congratulated General His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander of the National Guard, and all members of the National Guard, commending their dedication and high level of readiness in protecting the Kingdom and safeguarding its achievements.
The meeting was attended by MP Abdulnabi Salman Ahmed, First Deputy Speaker; MP Mahmoud Mirza Fardan, Chairman of the Legislative and Legal Affairs Committee; MP Ahmed Sabah Al Salloom, Chairman of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee; MP Hassan Eid Boukhmas, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security Committee; MP Mamdouh Abbas Al Saleh, Chairman of the Services Committee; MP Mohammed Mousa Al Balooshi, Chairman of the Public Utilities and Environment Committee; MP Mohammed Ibrahim Al Sisi Al Buainain, Secretary-General of the Council of Representatives; and Dr. Saleh Ibrahim Al Ghatheeth, Chairman of the Legal Advisors Authority of the Council of Representatives.
