Manama: The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) announced that the monthly issue of the Sukuk Al-Salam Islamic securities has been oversubscribed by 126%. Subscriptions amounting to BD 62.806 million were received for the BD 50 million issue, which has a maturity period of 91 days.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the expected return on the issue, which commences on January 7 and matures on April 8, is 4.84%, a slight decrease from the 4.90% return of the previous issue dated December 10, 2025. The Sukuk Al-Salam are issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain. This particular offering is identified as issue No.297 (BH0005504574) within the short-term Sukuk Al-Salam series.
