Cairo: Counsellor Essam El-Din Farid, President of the Senate of the Arab Republic of Egypt, received Fawzia Zainal, Ambassador to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States. The ambassador congratulated the President on his election for the 2025-2030 legislative term, wishing him continued success in carrying out his parliamentary responsibilities.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the ambassador highlighted the deep-rooted ties between Bahrain and Egypt, as well as the two countries' keenness to enhance cooperation across various domains, particularly at the parliamentary and diplomatic levels. Counsellor Farid commended the ties between the two countries and the ongoing progress and growth they continue to witness. He underscored the importance of the strategic partnership between Bahrain and Egypt.
