Manama: Nasser Science and Technology Centre (NSTC) continued its specialised cybersecurity training programmes for national cadres across various institutions at the Cybersecurity Lab, launched in partnership with the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC).
According to Bahrain News Agency, the training targeted new cadres from key national institutions and companies, including specialists from the Information and eGovernment Authority (iGA) and Bahrain Network Company (BENET).
The workshops focused on improving technical skills in identifying and addressing security vulnerabilities, and developing secure applications from the first stage of development, enhancing cyber readiness and reducing risks according to international best practices.
The lab provides a practical training environment based on real-life simulations to raise the efficiency of technical staff in managing cybersecurity threats.
NSTC aims to support the development of a sustainable national cybersecurity system and contribute to Bahrain's position as a regional hub for cybersecurity and advanced technologies.
