Kingdom of Bahrain Commends Saudi Arabia and UAE for Their Role in Yemen Security and Stability

Manama: The Kingdom of Bahrain, as the current chair of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), has expressed its appreciation for the significant role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in supporting security and stability in the Republic of Yemen. This support is seen as part of their responsibility and shared commitment to the overall security and stability of the Arabian Gulf region within the GCC framework.

According to Bahrain News Agency, The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bahrain has affirmed its confidence in the leadership of Saudi Arabia and the UAE, highlighting their ability to resolve any differences in viewpoints within the framework of a unified Gulf. This approach is in accordance with the principles of the GCC, which emphasize solidarity, understanding, and unity, aiming to consolidate security, stability, peace, and prosperity for the region and its peoples.

The Ministry also reiterated Bahrain's unwavering support for all regional and international initiatives and efforts to reach a comprehensive and lasting political solution in Yemen. This support aligns with the Gulf Initiative and its implementation mechanism, the outcomes of the National Dialogue Conference, and relevant Security Council resolutions. The aim is to preserve Yemen's sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity while achieving security, stability, and sustainable prosperity for its people.
