Niger: Niger's defence and security forces announced that 45 terrorists were neutralised and 26 individuals were detained on suspicion of involvement or complicity with armed terrorist groups during air and ground operations carried out across the country.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Nigerien army stated that firearms, quantities of ammunition, and other items belonging to the militants were seized during the operations against terrorist groups.
The statement further noted that four improvised explosive devices were destroyed, and importantly, there were no casualties or incidents reported among its forces during these operations.
