Public Prosecution Equal Opportunities Committee Convenes for Third 2025 Meeting

Manama: The Public Prosecution's Equal Opportunities Committee convened for its third meeting of the year, under the leadership of Haroon Othman Al Zayani, First Attorney General and Head of the Technical Office of the Public Prosecutor.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the committee evaluated the progress of the 2025-2026 plan, focusing on initiatives to foster equal opportunities among its staff and efforts to support and promote women. A key highlight was the Bahraini Women in the Judicial and Legal Fields forum, themed "Excellence, Creativity, and Innovation." This forum was organized by the Public Prosecution on November 26 to commemorate Bahraini Women's Day, under the patronage of Her Royal Highness Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, Consort of His Majesty the King and President of the Supreme Council for Women (SCW).

The committee acknowledged the patronage of HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim and the SCW's significant support. Additionally, the meeting outlined future plans to continue implementing development measures and training for Public Prosecution members across judicial and administrative areas. It also discussed initiatives aimed at enhancing the role of women in judicial and administrative work within the Public Prosecution.
