Mara’ee 2025 to Expand Participation, Support Investment in Agriculture and Livestock

Manama: Under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Bahrain Animal and Agriculture Production Show (Mara'ee 2025) will be held from December 9 to 13, 2025. The exhibition is one of the region's largest platforms dedicated to agricultural and livestock production and supports national food security efforts in line with the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to advance and sustain domestic agricultural production.

According to Bahrain News Agency, this year's edition features extensive local and international participation across agricultural and animal displays, an art exhibition, a heritage village, a farmers' market, a livestock market, a children's play area, and additional activities. Exhibitors from GCC and Arab countries will take part, and the programme will also include an international horse showcase.

The Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture, which organises the exhibition, aims to strengthen food security and support national strategies to expand the contribution of the agricultural and livestock sectors. The event highlights Bahrain's efforts to promote sustainable agricultural and livestock development and to attract investment in these fields. Bahrain continues to position itself as a regional destination for exhibitions and conferences, with 'Mara'ee' representing a key event that draws strong participation from across the region.

The exhibition also supports national environmental and afforestation initiatives, offering a platform to showcase the latest technologies and innovations in agriculture and livestock production. It provides investment opportunities for Bahraini farmers and breeders, encourages knowledge exchange, and offers educational programmes for children and young people, alongside family-oriented activities.

'Mara'ee 2025' will also showcase rare Arabian horse breeds and livestock varieties owned by Bahraini breeders, enhancing investment opportunities in specialised breeding programmes. The event attracts companies and experts in agricultural production, reflecting progress in establishing an integrated framework that supports food security, diversifies production sources, and encourages investment in the sector.

The exhibition's objectives include promoting agricultural and livestock development through the presentation of new technologies, highlighting the experiences of Bahraini farmers and breeders, and facilitating interaction and commercial exchange between exhibitors, investors, and buyers.
