Riyadh: Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman bin Ali Al Khalifa, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, extended congratulations on the successful outcomes of the fourth meeting of the Bahraini-Saudi Coordination Council, chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting resulted in the announcement of ten joint initiatives and projects, and the signing of several agreements and memoranda of understanding in areas including double taxation, direct investment, competition encouragement and protection, diplomatic studies, nuclear safety and radiation protection, railway training and development, higher education, sustainable development, and non-profit sector strategies.
Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman said that Bahrain-Saudi relations continue to thrive, creating broader opportunities for cooperation across various domains, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques.
The Ambassador highlighted the continuous development of cooperation and coordination between the two countries, expanding across multiple sectors based on a shared vision to further develop ties in line with both sides' ambitions. He commended the work of committees under the Bahraini-Saudi Coordination Council and the Council's commitment to fostering promising opportunities across various domains, reflected in the outcomes of meetings and initiatives that benefit all parties.
Shaikh Ali bin Abdulrahman also congratulated the success of the 46th session of the Supreme Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council, hosted by Bahrain, noting that the summit's outcomes support continued joint Gulf efforts and reflect the longstanding ties between the member states.
