BAS Aircraft Engineering Training Centre Celebrates Graduation of 100 EASA Part-66 Trainees

Manama: BAS Aircraft Engineering Training Centre (BAETC) recently hosted a graduation ceremony celebrating 100 trainees who completed the training requirements for the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part-66 Aircraft Engineering License. The ceremony marked the culmination of a program developed to the highest international aircraft engineering and maintenance standards, demonstrating the Centre's ability to equip the next generation of technical professionals with the tools they need to advance the aviation sector locally and regionally.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Nabeel Khalid Kanoo, Chairman of Bahrain Airport Services (BAS), highlighted the graduation of a new batch of qualified trainees, reflecting the company's commitment to developing national talent through world-class training programs. He noted that investing in people supports Bahrain's role as a leading regional hub for aircraft engineering training and strengthens the sector's competitiveness and sustainability.

Mohamed Khalil, Chief Executive Officer of BAS, noted the potential of each graduate to contribute to the development of aviation in Bahrain and the region. Many graduates are joining BAS and other leading local and international organisations, supporting the continued growth of this vital sector.

BAETC offers advanced courses accredited by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), which combine theoretical knowledge with practical application in line with the latest technical requirements and international safety standards. The Centre plays an essential role in preparing highly skilled professionals equipped to innovate and excel in the industry, supporting the National Aviation Strategy and Bahrain's Vision 2030 to diversify the economy and position the Kingdom as a regional aviation hub.
