Marking Bahraini Doctors Day, SCH Chairman Commends Doctors’ Role in Enhancing Healthcare Standards

Manama: Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), commended the Kingdom's healthcare sector for its continued advancement, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He noted that the sector's ongoing improvements demonstrate the commitment to enhancing the quality and efficiency of healthcare services.

According to Bahrain News Agency, marking Bahraini Doctors Day, observed annually on the first Wednesday of November, Lt. Gen. Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah highlighted the dedication and professionalism of Bahraini physicians and healthcare workers across both public and private sectors. He described doctors as a cornerstone of the national health system, indispensable for maintaining the highest standards of care and advancing healthcare initiatives.

Lt. Gen. Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah also emphasised the council's efforts to strengthen national medical efforts through ongoing training and professional development, citing the launch of the Bahraini Board as a transformative step in medical education and career advancement.
