Manama: Bahraini daily newspapers today highlighted a series of diplomatic engagements and developmental initiatives undertaken by the nation's leadership over the past 24 hours. According to Bahrain News Agency, HM King received expressions of gratitude from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and extended congratulations to the President of Trkiye. HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister issued Edict (67) of 2025, met with newly appointed undersecretaries and assistant undersecretaries, and engaged with the President of the Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities (BACA) and the Executive Chairman of MTQ Corporation Limited. He also received thanks from the leadership of Saudi Arabia and congratulated the President of the Republic of Trkiye. In addition to these diplomatic activities, HH Shaikh Isa bin Salman engaged with HRH the Crown Prince of Jordan and attended sessions at the Future Investment Initiative Forum. The Deputy Prime Minister participated in the British University of Bahrain's grad uation ceremony. Further, the Interior Minister held a meeting with the Executive Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), while the Foreign Minister extended condolences on the passing of the Thai Monarch's mother. The Health Minister took part in the Global Health Exhibition and visited Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Humanitarian City in Riyadh. The Sustainable Development Minister contributed to a high-level session at the Future Investment Initiative, and the Education Minister engaged with both Ahlia University's leadership and student advisory committee members. In the sphere of infrastructure and environment, the Electricity Minister inaugurated five ultra-fast electric vehicle charging stations, and the Environment Minister participated in the launch of the first ChemSafe 2025 Conference and Exhibition. The Youth Minister chaired a meeting of the Hope Network, while the Education Ministry was involved in the 4th Gulf Scouts and Guides Committee Meeting in Kuwait. Addition ally, the Social Development Ministry and Al Hilal Healthcare Group signed an agreement, the Electricity and Water Authority (EWA) launched the second phase of the "Kafa'a" programme, and the Bahrain Space Agency announced the Space Cybersecurity Hackathon 2025.
