Bahrain’s Parliamentary Delegation Engages in APA Meeting in Moscow

Moscow: A delegation from Bahrain's Parliamentary Division, led by MP Ahmed Sabah Al Salloom, Vice President of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) and Chairman of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee at the Council of Representatives, took part in the APA Executive Council meeting held in Moscow. The delegation included Hani Ali Al Saati, Shura Council member and Deputy Head of the delegation, and MP Bader Saleh Al Tamimi.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting, held within the framework of the APA Standing Committee on Social and Cultural Affairs, discussed several agenda items. These included the report of the APA Secretary General, the Assembly's financial position, member state contributions, and recommendations issued by the standing committees. Preparations for upcoming APA meetings were also reviewed.

The Bahraini delegation noted that its participation reflects the Kingdom's active role in promoting Asian parliamentary cooperation. It emphasizes Bahrain's commitment to supporting the APA's efforts to strengthen legislative collaboration and the exchange of parliamentary expertise, serving the shared interests of Asian nations.

The delegation's involvement is part of Bahrain's ongoing efforts to maintain an effective presence in regional and international parliamentary forums. It aims to reinforce Bahrain's role as an active partner in advancing Asian social, cultural, and developmental priorities.
