Manama: Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, welcomed Gulahmadzoda Zulfiqor Ahmad, Chairman of the Committee of Youth Affairs and Sports of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, during his official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Minister underscored the strengthening ties between Bahrain and Tajikistan, highlighting their ongoing development in specific areas, particularly concerning youth affairs. She expressed the ministry's commitment to broadening cooperation with Tajikistan, focusing on exchanging expertise to empower youth and enhance their leadership and creative capabilities through collaborative programs and initiatives that bolster youth involvement in comprehensive development.
The discussions at the meeting centered on youth empowerment, exploring ways to enhance coordination and develop strategies for executing bilateral programs and initiatives between the two nations.
Gulahmadzoda, in turn, lauded the ministry's efforts in fostering youth cooperation and praised Bahrain's pioneering role in supporting national youth initiatives. He reiterated Tajikistan's interest in bolstering cooperation with Bahrain across various sectors of youth and innovation.
