Manama: Bahrain's parliamentary delegation, led by MP Ahmed Sabah Al Salloum, Vice President of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA), participated in the Gulf Coordination Meeting. The delegation included Dr. Hani Ali Al Saati, Deputy Head, and MP Bader Saleh Al Tamimi. The meeting was a preparatory event for the Committee on Social and Cultural Affairs session at the APA, scheduled to take place in Moscow, Russia, from October 28 to 30.
According to Bahrain News Agency, legislative delegations from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states convened to review the committee's agenda. The participants discussed crucial topics and coordinated their positions to present a unified Gulf stance on social and cultural issues impacting Asian nations, which will be addressed during the APA session.
The meeting highlighted the GCC legislatures' dedication to active and coordinated participation. This approach aims to reflect the aspirations and consistent positions of member states on matters included in the APA agenda.
