Manama: Bahrain's girls volleyball team is set to compete in the 3rd Asian Youth Games, with preparations commencing nearly two months ago. Coach Ibrahim Al Warqa'a revealed that the team has undergone intensive local training, participated in friendly matches, and held a training camp in Jordan as part of their rigorous preparatory efforts.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the team has achieved a commendable level of cohesion, aiming to highlight the progress of women's volleyball in Bahrain. Coach Al Warqa'a acknowledged the challenging opponents in their group stage, such as Iran and Qatar, and emphasized the significance of the Games as a platform for gaining experience and nurturing a new generation of players for future international competitions.
