Manama: The Ministry of Works has announced the launch of a sewer network project in Blocks 431 and 435 in Jeblat Hebshi and Block 477 in Al Qadam, aiming to serve 414 properties.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the project was awarded by the Tender and Auction Board to Abdul Hadi Al Afoo Contracting Company. It includes the construction of main and secondary sewer lines, 83 meters of tunneling works, 367 main manholes, 418 secondary manholes, and a pumping station. The project also involves completing all the necessary works required for paving the roads where construction will take place.
The Ministry highlighted that such projects support sustainable development in the sanitation sector and meet the needs of growing urban and investment expansion across Bahrain, ensuring a healthy environment by connecting more properties to the sewer network.
Residents in the affected areas are urged to cooperate and follow safety signs during the execution period to ensure public safety.
