Manama: A 5.6-magnitude earthquake struck the Santiago del Estero province in Argentina, according to local seismic monitoring authorities.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Argentina's earthquake monitoring website reported that the tremor occurred in the Sarmiento department, around 38 kilometres northwest of A±atuya, in Santiago del Estero province.
No reports of casualties or material damage have been recorded so far.
