Manama: The Ministry of Youth Affairs has unveiled the Exceptional Media Professional initiative, a new program designed to celebrate and empower young media professionals in Bahrain. This initiative is part of the Ministry's activities for Bahraini Youth Day, which is observed annually on March 25. The goal is to promote a responsible media message that embodies the values, national identity, and positive image of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the initiative aims to showcase outstanding young media professionals across various fields, encourage creative expression, and develop skills. It also seeks to instill a culture of excellence and professionalism, preparing a conscious media generation that can adapt to the evolving media landscape.
Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, the Minister of Youth Affairs, stated that the initiative is in line with the vision of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs. The vision emphasizes enhancing youth participation, especially in the media sector. The minister highlighted that Bahraini youth have shown remarkable competence and responsibility in delivering the national media message.
Minister Tawfiqi also underscored that investing in exceptional young media professionals is tantamount to investing in societal awareness. The Ministry is committed to supporting youth aspirations and expanding their role in national development while emphasizing the role of youth media in showcasing Bahrain's achievements both locally and internationally.
