Minister of Youth and Sport Affairs, Ayman bin Tawfeeq Al-Moayed, participated in the Rotary International 8th District 2452 Conference, which was held under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Addressing the conference, the Minister of Youth and Sport Affairs shed light on the goals, values and principles of the Ministry of Youth and Sport Affairs and its initiatives to develop the youth sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain. He pointed out the initiative of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of HM the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, to hold the Youth Summit in 2018 which brought together ministers and youngsters to discuss the needs of the youth in Bahrain.
The minister noted that the summit had provided an ideal environment for the ministers to cooperate with the youth in working out solutions to many problems in many sectors. He pointed out strong cooperation between the public and private sectors which contributed to the success of many pioneering youth-oriented initiatives aimed at increasing training opportunities for them and honing their skills.
The Minister of Youth and Sport Affairs cast light in his speech on the setting up of Al-Amal (Hope) Fund to invest in the youth’s potentials, explore talents and hone skills so as to further engage youngsters in the kingdom’s development process and enable them to access the world of economy confidently.
