Manama: Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, affirmed that the vision and aspirations of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa have established a national approach that places the Bahraini individual at the center of progress and development, providing young generations with broad opportunities to learn, develop, and demonstrate their capabilities across various fields.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the minister emphasized that the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, reflects a commitment to preparing a generation capable of keeping pace with a rapidly changing world through continuous learning, adaptability, and openness to new knowledge, skills, and experiences.
In a statement marking International Youth Day, the minister said young people's journeys are shaped by accumulated experiences, knowledge, and achievements, as well as initiative and a willingness to learn from every experience. She noted that every experience undertaken by a young person contributes to the nation's progress by building greater awareness of their capabilities, broadening their experience, and strengthening their readiness to shape their own future and contribute to the future of Bahrain.
She commended the vision and initiatives of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King's Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, which have made practical experience a key element of the journey of Bahraini youth, expanding opportunities for learning, participation, and challenge, and enabling young people to discover their potential and turn their capabilities into achievements.
The minister said that the next stage will provide young people with greater opportunities to apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired, noting that the ability to learn quickly, adapt, innovate, and develop solutions will be among the key factors for success in a rapidly changing world.
She said the Ministry of Youth Affairs is working to provide diverse experiences that expose young people to real challenges and give them opportunities to learn through practice, work with others, assume new responsibilities, and turn ideas into initiatives that enrich their experiences and develop their skills.
The minister affirmed that youth development efforts play a vital role in equipping young people with the knowledge, experience, and opportunities needed to identify their aspirations, make informed choices, and take confident steps towards achieving their ambitions.
She concluded by congratulating Bahrain's youth on International Youth Day and expressing pride in their ambition, passion for learning, and determination to make a greater impact and achieve further accomplishments.
