Manama: Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfeeqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, attended the signing of a strategic partnership agreement between the Lamea Association and Bapco Energies to support the sixth edition of the national Lamea project. The agreement was signed by Shaikha Dwa bint Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Lamea Association, and Mark Thomas, Group Chief Executive Officer of Bapco Energies.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the national Lamea project has established itself as a national platform for developing young Bahraini talent, supported by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs. Minister Tawfeeqi emphasized that the strategic partnership with Bapco Energies would expand opportunities for Bahraini youth to learn, gain experience, and develop professionally, enhancing their future readiness and contribution to national development.
Shaikha Dwa bint Khalid highlighted that the partnership, now in its fourth consecutive year, reflects cooperation between sectors in empowering Bahraini youth and developing their capabilities. She stated that the sixth edition would continue efforts to enhance the project's developmental impact and invest in young people as future leaders.
Mark Thomas expressed that Bapco Energies' continued partnership with the Lamea Association reflects the group's commitment to investing in promising Bahraini talent and developing leadership and innovation skills. He noted that the project has demonstrated its ability to identify and prepare Bahraini talent over previous editions.
The agreement marks Bapco Energies' fourth consecutive year as a strategic partner of the project, supporting the development of young Bahraini talent and the preparation of future leaders.
