Manama: The Republic of Yemen has issued a strong condemnation of the recent Iranian ballistic missile and drone attacks aimed at the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait. Yemen's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has labeled these actions as a direct violation of the sovereignty of both nations and a grave threat to regional security.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Yemen described the assaults as a dangerous escalation that could heighten tensions and destabilize regional peace and security. The ministry's statement emphasized that these repeated attacks are not random but rather indicative of a systematic policy by Tehran, aimed at undermining security in the region through various aggressive tactics. These include the use of ballistic missiles and drones, as well as the employment of affiliated militias and armed groups to destabilize the area, posing significant threats to both regional and international peace and security, alongside the safety of air and maritime navigation.
The Republic of Yemen has reiterated its full solidarity with Bahrain and Kuwait, expressing its support for any measures the two countries undertake to protect their security, stability, and sovereignty. Yemen further stressed that the security of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states is interconnected, and any attack on one is a threat to the entire region's stability.
